Ocean Mapping Program at the Marine Institute Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland

The Marine Institute’s joint diploma/degree in Ocean Mapping produces outstanding graduates with solid technical skills to collect, manage, analyze and disseminate ocean data. Delve deep into the ocean to examine the ocean surface, the water column, the seabed and the seabed subsurface. You’ll train in marine surveying equipment, optical and acoustic remote sensing technologies, oceanographic instrumentation and geographic information systems.
