Let’s go PMS Ambassador Malik!

👩🏽‍🍳 Meet Junior Chef #14 Malik Burton from the Princess Margaret Secondary School and his Chef Mentor, Chef Cavel Porter, Chef de Partie at the Hodges Bay Resort and Spa.

As part of the Taste of Wadadli Junior Chef Academy 2026, Malik will begin his culinary internship journey, gaining hands-on experience in a professional kitchen, building his skills, and learning from industry expert Chef Cavel Porter.

📅 Programme Timeline:
👩🏽‍🍳 Internship Period: July 13 – August 21, 2026
🍽️ Cook-Off Competition: August 25 – 28, 2026
🎓 Closing Ceremony: September 3, 2026

🏆 At the end of the programme, one outstanding Junior Chef will be selected as the top Junior Chef and will receive the opportunity to represent Antigua & Barbuda at the Junior Lit’l Chef Camp in Turks and Caicos in 2027 in partnership with Turks and Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association.

Follow Malik’s journey as he develops his passion for culinary arts and takes his first steps toward becoming a future hospitality professional.

The Taste of Wadadli Junior Chef Academy 2026, is presented by the Antigua & Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA), the Ted Isaac Family, and Global Ports Holding (Antigua Cruise Port).
