The Notch Hill Community Hall was in attendance to the first ever Shuswap Community Foundations "Heart of the Shuswap Mixer 2026".

President Anna-Marie White-Eckhart & Vice President Carol Mowers was there in celebration of the donors & grant recipients for the 2025/2026 year.

The Notch Hill Town Hall recieved a 10,000 grant donation for the construction of the new accessible washroom for the hall.

Visiting today at the Notch Hill School House Artisans & Coffee Studio was a Seniors group from Bastion Place in SalmonArm. Old fashion Icecream Sundaes & Rootbeer floats thoroughly enjoyed by all. Thankyou Carol Mowers for the pictures.

Did you know that the Notch Hill Hall, located at 1639 Notch Hill Rd., is one of the oldest community halls in the Shuswap—dating all the way back to 1910? This hall has been run by a community association ever since it was built on land donated by local farmers, the Sjodin family.
What makes it truly special isn't just the age, it's the paper trail.
The community association has kept near-complete meeting minutes for over a century, recording everything from crop prices to who owed 50¢ for hall rental. This makes it an absolute treasure trove of local history that helps tell the story of one of the Shuswap's oldest communities.
