Well that’s a wrap! I loved teaching your children so much! They all deserve awards & recognition for how far they came!
I’m leaving my Epic classroom up for the summer. They can read Mon-Fri from 9-3 for free! The kids love it so I thought I’d leave it as is until September. 📚
Enjoy your summer!

Please accept this as your invitation to our awards ceremony tomorrow in the gym at 9:00. I do not call the parents of recipients as I think we should learn to celebrate everyone regardless. 🏆
Tomorrow is the last day for students. They enter as usual but they will need to wear their outdoor shoes as I sent their indoor shoes home already. We will then proceed to the gym for the awards ceremony. After they will come back to class to get their report card and be dismissed. This is generally all over by 10:30.
It has been my pleasure to teach your children and they are ALL winners in my eyes !❤️

Part 3: Wekusko Falls Lodge
06/21/2024
This will be a big photo dump but when I asked Jade & Jodi to take pictures they sure took some great ones! What a great day for us! It was so fun to say, “We’re going on a hike” and surprise them by walking into an unknown world right on our doorsteps-Helitac! It was almost like Narnia! They enjoyed the lodge so much too! Another mystery for them! The knowledge, hospitality and Noah’s proud waiter skills were amazing. The Falls crew tilled the sand, brought out an extra fire pit and Keelan had wood there ready waiting! Jade kept the kids busy with some fun games and her enthusiasm and Jodi as always, was my right hand woman!

A busy and fun day!
🚒 Thank you SLFD and the Mining Museum! ⛏️

Tomorrow will be a busy day! We’re off to the fire hall at 910 for a tour. After recess in the morning there is a fiddling concert for half the class while the other half goes to the Mining Museum. After lunch the other half of the class will go to the museum. It is quite chilly in the museum so be sure to bring a sweater or jacket!
The concert at 1030 is open to the public so feel free to attend!

The Father’s Day gifts ran out of time for outside shellac/clear coat. If they are going outside, the coloured paints may wash away! They were made with love so please keep that in mind 😂😂!

Next week is Spirit Week!
Our class is currently first in the morning mile. 🚶♀️ Great job. If they win they get to water bomb some staff!
Please watch for an important note going home today about our class field trip and return the forms needed.
Happy Father’s Day!

Quite fitting that Cesare won Raz last week again!
( I forgot to announce the winner). That wraps up the weekly reading contest. Thank you parents for supporting reading.
