Mark your calendars! Pumpkinfest is a wonderful annual event that is held at North Star. It is an amazing opportunity for merchants, consumers, and students seeking volunteer hours.🎃🐺

Any athletes wishing to play football this year, please read the following information regarding preseason practices:

Attention all incoming grade 9 students and families. Grade 9 Orientation Day is September 1st. Orientation is for students only.

Please refer to the email that was sent on July 17th for important information and details.

Please read the following information carefully:

1. Graduates need to come in to pick up their own packages--you need to sign off as Diplomas/Graduation Certificates are only issued ONCE by the Ministry.

2. Main Office hours are July 10th until July 17th from 7:30am until 2:30pm. Please use the front doors only.

3. Most packages will include a Diploma/Certificate, Transcripts, final Report Cards, and various other things as you exit Secondary School.

4. Grad composites will also be distributed to those who purchased one (this is the grad picture of the entire Grade 12 class).

5. If you received a bursary from North Star HS and have yet to contact us with your personal information, please provide at that time.

Starting Mon, July 6th....students who were in Grades 9, 10 & 11 ONLY.....report cards will be available for pickup between 7:30am-2:30pm at the main office.

Grad Packages are NOT yet available. We will post when those are ready. We are still aiming for Mon, July 13th for Grade 12s.

On June 26th, graduating student Lucus Newman, was awarded with the Constable Atkinson Memorial Scholarship Fund Award for $5000 at their annual Scholarship Breakfast.
Lucus plans to pursue a career in law enforcement.

Shelley Atkinson, John's wife presented Lucus with the award.

The grade 11 Visual Art students completed pet portraits for some of the residents at Seasons Retirement Home. They were very excited to receive them!
