The complete opposite of my last post; this is a super small handbag! This one is also Hand-stitched leather from Babylon Leather. This would be really cute as a small bag for a special event or outing.

I love the look of hand stitching and decided to give it a whirl! This one is from Babylon Leather. They provide laser cut pieces all edge coated with everything necessary to construct each handbag, even a video tutorial!
This is a large bag with a complimentary webbing crossbody strap. The stitches stand out wonderfully when finished but, it sure is hard on the fingers and hands!!👐

This was by far the most interesting and challenging handbag I’ve ever made; It’s all sewn together from the outside! I learned a bunch of new skills during the construction process-Who says you can’t teach an old bag new tricks 😉

This handbag is called the Duchess and it’s from the Canadian designer, Sue Cheek. It’s full grain navy leather with contrast topstitching. I love the shape and the way it stands upright on its own.

Here is another laptop bag!

This one has a vertical orientation as requested by my customer. I “hacked” a few different patterns and added to the height to come up with this design. It’s made with another floral pattern from and a couple of matching vinyls.
Inside there is a padded laptop sleeve and slip pockets and outside has one zipper pocket and a big slip pocket on the back. The rolled handles will make it easy to hold and it also comes with a crossbody strap.

Anyone need a new laptop bag?
This is the Lupin Laptop Bag pattern from . It will stow your 15” laptop and some work essentials easily.

I’ve used 2 coloured cork fabrics from which match the floral fabric from . Inside is a padded laptop sleeve and some slip in pockets. The outside has zippered pockets for your items and a nice wide crossbody strap.

I can now safely post the handbags I worked on prior to the Christmas season.

My customer wanted a new monochromatic handbag for the fall and winter. Together we designed the Maddy Saddlebag in gray leathers.

It is a wonderful, well written pattern from with a video tutorial which guided me through each step in the construction process. Love how it turned out! ❤️❤️
