Erin Schattle Music Lessons

Introducing the teacher:

My name is Erin and I graduated this Spring from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Music Degree. My degree focused on Opera/Classical singing, which included performing along with my music studies. This September, I will be starting my second degree in Education.

I have always loved music, and started singing at a young age. Throughout the years, I have learned many instruments and played in numerous bands, but singing has always held a special place in my heart. It is a musical expression of our innermost feelings and thoughts, which is a magical thing. While I am trained in classical singing, I began my singing journey through indie/folk music. The tools I have learned through my classical training have also improved my singing across all genres!

Through my teaching, I aim to create a safe and welcoming environment for my students. Singing can make one feel vulnerable at times because our instrument is part of ourselves. My studio is a place where you can experiment, learn, grow, make silly sounds, and most importantly have fun!

Have you always wanted to learn how to sing or fine-tune your singing voice? Starting this fall, I will be offering singing lessons for beginner and intermediate level singers using classical technique (which can be translated into other singing styles!).
