Students from St. Mary's French Immersion NSL class proudly showcased their hard work through interactive displays focused on Ojibwe language, culture, history, and traditions. It was great to see families, staff, and community members exploring the projects, asking questions, and learning alongside one another.

Miigwech to the families and community members who joined us in celebrating student achievement and the ongoing journey of learning together.

More than 350 students, staff, Elders, community members, and partners gathered at St. Augustine Catholic School in Wawa for our first annual Drum Beat Gathering! 🥁

Students from across our North District schools came together to celebrate drumming, song, culture, and shared teachings. Thank you to our Elders, community partners, Knowledge Keepers, and Indigenous Education team for helping create such a meaningful day of learning, connection, and celebration.
