Introducing STEM Pathways Saskatoon — a FREE 6-month STEM enrichment program for Black children and teens, funded by Community Initiatives Fund CIF Saskatchewan!

We know that paid STEM programs aren't always accessible to every family and that's exactly why this program exists. No cost. No barriers. Just opportunity. 💙

Here's how it works: 💻 Weekly virtual lessons via Zoom (from the comfort of home!) 🧪 PLUS 2 in-person STEM labs in Saskatoon — one in September, one in December

On behalf of Stemsaskb - Stem For Sask Black Kids and the entire team behind STEM FEST for Black Kids and Youths, thank you so much for taking the time to join us this past Saturday.

Your presence meant a great deal, not just to us as organizers, but to every parent, child, and youth who saw a representative of the City of Saskatoon show up, engage, and genuinely connect with our community. Watching you take the time to speak with parents and interact with the kids sent a powerful message: that this event, and the future of these young innovators, matters to our city.

For many of our families, this was the first time they experienced something like this in Saskatoon, and having you there added a layer of validation and encouragement that we simply couldn't have created on our own.

We are deeply grateful for your support and for standing with us as we worked to create a space where Black kids and teens can see themselves reflected in the future of science and technology.

We hope this is just the beginning, and we would love to continue working with you as we plan for future STEM FEST events and other initiatives.

Thank you again for showing up for our kids and our community.
