There was this one time I told the universe, “I’ve got this,” and it laughed in my face.

I was bored out of my mind and thought, you know what I need? A job.
Never mind that I didn’t actually have time for one — I just wanted something new. Something to shake things up.

So I asked the cards.
First pull: Not for you.
Second pull: Still not for you.
And I said, “Screw it, I’m going anyway.”

The universe said, “Oh really?”

Fast forward to interview day. I drive all the way into the city, hair done, outfit on point, ready to charm my way into a 40% discount and a new adventure.
And guess what? The manager who was supposed to interview me… didn’t even show up.
Her kid got sick. No one knew I was coming.

At that point, the universe didn’t just whisper.
It was like: “I SAID what I said.” 😂

The lesson?
When something isn’t aligned, it doesn’t matter how much you push — it’s not happening. And honestly, thank god for that. Because the universe always has a better plan, even when we’re too stubborn to see it.
