Wine Design For Charity is a fundraising initiative for the Kurl 4 Kids Pro-Am Charity Bonspiel This year my wife and I decided to add value to your donation.
Every year, the Kurl For Kids charity bonspiel in Oakville raises nearly a hundred thousand dollars for the Sandra Schmirler Foundation and the Oakville Hospital Foundation Special Care Nursery. Any donations we receive over $50, qualify you to receive a custom wine glass and bottle holder. A great gift for any occasion!! We will write you back asap requesting your specifications and everything else we require to get your Wine Design piece sent! The labour and material costs will be covered by Team LeDrew Curling. On top of receiving a tax receipt for your donation, you will receive the following:
Each piece will be constructed from raw cedar. The bottom will be planned smooth while the top and sides will remain rough. The finish can be your choice of natural untreated cedar, a dark stain, a white wash, or a burnt look. From there you can customize the burnt-on lettering (up to 10 letters please). Finally we will finish it with multiple coats of poly, package it up and send it out! We figure the best option to donate, and to confirm the amount donated, is to interac e-transfer us the funds. Our fundraising page doesn't give us the option to know how much people have donated. If you would rather find another way to get us the funds, then we can discuss further. On top of your donation, you will be responsible for the shipping charges. We will have them shipped anywhere across Canada, and will provide the REAL shipping quote, which we believe will not be much.
