Best advice I can share; (WARNINGπ±π₯Έ- Long post)
1. Determine your learning style -πππ can't stress how important this is. It forms the foundation of how you approach everything and can save you tremendous time and unnecessary expenses.
2. Get organized. Use a planner and a checklist to organize your activities. Falling behind is TABOOOOπ³π³π³π₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ί and a death sentence!
3. Practice anxiety combating strategies like avoiding studying 3 hours before exams, getting enough restπ€, eating/drinking well, exercise, etc
4. For each test you donβt do well on, do an assessment and write down all the factors that you think contributed to your unsuccess
5. Tackle each of those factors addressing the root cause so you don't repeat the same errors.

How to Make a Study Plan
β€β€β€π€π€π€πππ
List out all your assignments, their due dates and how much each its worth
Determine how many weeks or days you have to do an assignment/test.
Break up your workload across the weeks and schedule them in your planner
This helps you prioritize which ones to focus on in case you are in a real crunch.
Calculate the Assignment time. Use the guide below to calculate how long you should spend on an assignment or preparing for exams. In general, for every 5% worth of assignment/test, you should plan to prepare/study for 2 hours.
5% = 2 hours
10% = 4 hours
15% = 6 hours
β20 % = 8 Hours
25% = 10 hours
30% = 12 hours
35% = 14 hours
40% = 16 hours
Use an βοΈβοΈβοΈAssignment Tracker βοΈβοΈβοΈ to break big assignments into smaller, more manageable steps. This same system can be used for test and exam preparation.

How to Read Smart
β€β€β€π€π€π€πππ
"The mark of a successful college student is the mastery of knowing not only what to study, but also how to study it.β ~Patricia Mulcahy-Ernt~
It's next to impossible to do all your readings.
Q: So how do you decide what to read and how to read?
Here are some strategies you need to employ to ensure you get the key points in the quickest, most pain-free and most effective way.
ππππDoβsππππ
Step 1: Skim read first - Flip through each page looking at headings, sub-headings, highlighted terms, and illustrations.
Step 2: Review summaries and questions at the end of the chapter to determine which information is most important
Step 3: Take notes on each section RELEVANT to the objectives your instructor has laid out
Step 4: Review your notes
