At St. Stephen’s University, we recognize that the elements of trauma (and our individual and collective healing from this trauma), grief, and story are important to consider together in the world of peacebuilding. These are foundational ingredients of all conflicts and their potential transformation and elements that every serious peacebuilder should have a solid grounding in.

Join us every January to August for our Certificate in Story, Trauma & Peacebuilding. Online and in-person options available. Application deadline (Dec 15th).

Emily has been both a practitioner and academic within the field of peacebuilding in Northern Ireland and internationally for over 25 years. She has been teaching courses periodically in Jim Forest Institute for Religion, Peace & Justice for a number of years and we couldn’t be happier to be deepening our relationship as she integrates into our Core Faculty going forward.
