The year that was 2024! I'll be playing less this year but will be posting my schedule tomorrow regardless. Hopefully it will give me more time to engage with music in a more creative way to share. All the best this year!

Here I'll Be!

Neat gig coming up this Saturday the 9th. I will be playing with our Trio CC3, featuring Emily Manjeet and myself at Cork & Barley. Show happens from 7-10. Come out and have a great meal and be entertained by our little group!

I'll be performing this weekend both Friday and Saturday Night from 8-12 at the exciting and BRAND NEW Sherlock Holmes Pub Northside location (13580 137 Ave). Come acquaint yourself with this new establishment from the company that has set the bar for pubs in this city!

Hello, my name is Stanley!

I have been a professional musician for the past 25 years from the age of 17. I hold a degree in jazz performance from St. Francis Xavier in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

I have been teaching for 20 years. I received a gold medal for teaching from The Royal Conservatory of Music for the accomplishments of a classical guitar student. I am a regular performer on the local music scene playing solo pub gigs, in various bands, hosting open stages and occasional studio work. Many of my students have gone on to successful music careers, formed or joined well known bands, pursued secondary education in music or grown their passion for their hobby.

I have had great success keeping children and teenagers engaged and loving lessons and love working with adults of all levels of experience.

I tailor lessons to the needs of each individual. I enjoy getting people playing songs that are fun and relevant them. If improving theory, improvising and composition skills are your thing, I excel at and am very passionate at all of those things.
Electric and acoustic students welcome.

Lessons are $25/30 minutes. I teach Tuesday's and Wednesday's at 15 115 Circle Drive, located in St. Albert's Campbell Industrial Park, just off the Campbell Drive Henday exit.
