Sometimes the tiniest finds are the most fascinating 🪲🌲🌿

The children couldn’t decide if this little green beetle was sleeping or dead, but airing on the side of optimism they gave it some water, a wee leaf blanket, and an overturned bucket for shelter.

The canvas came back, the very next year 🎵🎨. The art project that keeps on giving!

Some of you may recognize this canvas from previous posts. We decided to pull down our huge canvas and give it a pre-springtime refresh 🌷

Armed with paint, brushes, sponges and smocks, the children very much enjoyed working on this project and exploring the textures, colours and experience of working on a large scale project together. And yes, all of us were covered head to toe in paint 💦
