Our Wonderfold wagon allows the daycare children to travel in comfort (and style) on our daily walks ✨ so many parks were explored this summer and going to the splash pad was a breeze. Looking forward to our winter strolls through the snow with these large, all-terrain wheels ❄️

Hello! As a parent myself, I completely understand how stressful and difficult it can be to trust someone to care for your child. You want the absolute best care for them and the confidence they will be safe and happy. Let me introduce myself and give you a sense of the daycare provider I can be for your child.

I graduated with an Honours degree in Child Development and Psychology. During this time, I worked in several elementary schools and led educational lessons while observing specific needs of each child. After years of experience in schools, my passion shifted from classroom settings to early learning with toddlers and preschoolers; and my career in daycare began.

I began working in a highly reputable daycare where the focus was play to learn. I watched as imaginations soared and creativity and role-playing were limitless.

After several years of this play-based learning, I began working in a Montessori daycare. Here my knowledge and skillset advanced as I learned about Maria Montessori and her philosophy of education revolving around independence and choice.

With Morris Village Daycare, my vision is to merge these different learning styles into one unique and well-rounded philosophy of my own. I believe children should have the independence to explore their surroundings at their own speed. I believe children should follow a loosely set curriculum and be given choices as often as possible. I believe taking the time to teach healthy communication skills is essential. And above all, I believe children should feel safe and loved.
