This summer, we brought Chinese intangible cultural heritage into our Chinese classroom.

Through hands-on cultural experiences, our students are not only learning about Chinese culture — they’re using Chinese while experiencing it.

Our first summer session is almost complete, with only 4 weeks remaining!

A real-world financial literacy & career education experience — in Chinese. 💰🏦

Heyni® students will have the opportunity to learn about money management, income, Canadian financial basics, and different careers in banking through a special session hosted by our Dunbar neighbour, Scotiabank.

The session will be primarily in Mandarin, with English support.

At Heyni®, we hope to create more opportunities for children to use Chinese in real-life settings — and to gain new knowledge while learning the language.
