Ducks in a Row Through these newsletters, I want to share my passion for the life enhancing, and life transforming joys of a yoga practice. Built in 1860. That’s not a house. That’s a witness. She stood through confederation, through wars, through winters that didn’t apologize. Horses tied to posts. Wood smoke in the air. Letters written by lamplight. Generations of boots at that door.

The snow falls now the same way it did then. Different century. Same sky. Same roofline holding steady.

Good bones are not just timber and nails.
They are survival. They are memory. They are the quiet decision to stay standing.

Today she shelters a different kind of life.
A sanctuary. Hooves and paws instead of carriages and a dairy operation.
Healing instead of trauma.

She was built to endure.
Now she is part of something built to protect.

And in the hush of winter,
she still stands.

The Healing Power of Birdsong — and Nature’s Vibrations ✨🌿 Have you ever noticed how your whole body softens when you step outside and hear the birds singing… or the distant call of a wolf? Nature speaks in frequencies — and our bodies remember how to listen.

Science shows that trees and plants respond to sound vibrations in subtle but remarkable ways. These natural frequencies influence how they grow, how they move water, and how they interact with the world around them.

Birdsongs, in particular, create a gentle vibration through the forest, a signal of harmony and life. And just like the trees, we respond too. Birdsong, animal calls, and the natural soundscape around us have been shown to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and bring our bodies back into balance.

Their vibrations affect our heart rate, our breath, and our sense of connection. ✨ The wolf’s howl carries a deep, grounding frequency — a reminder of instinct, belonging, and ancient communication. ✨

Birdsong lifts and lightens the body, inviting presence and ease. ✨ Every animal offers a unique vibration, each one tuning us back to our natural rhythm. So the next time you hear a bird sing, a squirrel chatter, or a wolf call out across the land… pause.

Feel the sound move through your body. Let nature’s frequencies open you, soften you, and remind you how deeply connected you are to everything around you.
