5 years ago I took a bare foot hoof pathology course. Of course that does in no way say I'm a trained farrier. What it does say. Is that when I have unhandled horses and horses having trouble with their feet. I can safely and effectively make progress on working with horses to get them to the stage of being trimmed and able to be worked with by a professional farrier. As well as see any foreseeable issues in hoof care. Professional farriers are getting harder and harder to come by. I have always been lucky in having the most patient farriers willing to work with my training horses when safe to do so. They have a tough job that may not always be the safest. That is thier livleyhood that puts food on the table. An injury could very much hinder that. This is where I try to pride my job as a trainer to put in the work long before they are seen by the farrier.

I got to visit with these cuties and trim some hooves! Good foundations are important! This girly stood so well for me and was super patient. I haven't trimmed in a while and well even though I am mini 😅 they are still awkward. Good times. And good people!

We haven't posted for a while! I have been helping my sister out with her EAL team members.
Im offering mentorship and basic horsemanship training for people that would like to work with thier own horses or have vises that they would like to curb. Bucking, bolting, ground manners, trailering ect. Regina, fort quapelle, southey, belcaress areas. Feel free to pm me and we can discuss!

Would there be any interest in the near future for a body language and groundwork workshop?
All ages, disciplines and riding levels.
Can be only halter broke.
Would be on a Saturday 9 am to 5pm.
