Some quick shop reminders:
-We are located at 1761 Wallace Street (use our rear door)
-We are only open on select Saturdays from 10:30am-2:00pm (see our seasonal open days on our social media posts or website)
-No holds/reserves, items are sold on a first come, first served basis
-Volunteers are not permitted to hold items, do not message about stock
-Items are not individually priced but sold on a fill a bag system, bags are $5-$20
-We are volunteer run to give you the best deals on secondhand art and craft supplies

Hello RFM Community!

We are excited to share that beginning Saturday, May 2, 2026, our outdoor farmers’ markets will return to City Square on Pat Fiacco Plaza. This means that both Wednesday and Saturday markets will operate downtown once again, marking a return to our longtime home in the heart of the city.

When Saturday farmers’ markets were relocated in 2024, the intention was always to return downtown once construction conditions allowed. Over the past two seasons, Confederation Park served us well, and we’re incredibly grateful to REAL District for their ongoing flexibility and support.

In fall 2025, we took the time to gather additional input through surveys, vendor engagement, and a public panel. Nearly 1,700 survey responses confirmed a strong public preference for a downtown home for the farmers’ market. This decision also reflects the broader role that our market plays as a gathering place and contributor to downtown vibrancy and revitalization.

In the coming months, we’re excited to announce additional initiatives in partnership with Regina Downtown BID. These efforts will address common concerns related to parking, mobility, and safety to help ensure RFM remains welcoming and accessible for all.

You may have also seen our RFP for a feasibility study exploring what a permanent, four-season home for our market could look like. While that future vision continues to take shape, City Square will remain the home of our outdoor farmers’ markets for the foreseeable future.

Above all, we want to thank our community for continuing to show up, wherever we are set up, and for your ongoing support of our local farmers, food producers, and makers. We’re looking forward to an incredible season on the plaza and we cannot wait to welcome you back!

Following the outdoor season, on October 17, 2026 our farmers’ markets will return to Banner Hall in the REAL District for the indoor season.

Heartbroken doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Catherine O’Hara was one of a kind. A rare light in this world and her passing hits with a weight I can’t fully put into words.

She wasn’t just a legendary artist, actor and comedian. She was an ambassador for Canada in the truest sense: brilliant, fearless, deeply original, and so full of humanity. She made the world laugh, but she also made people feel seen.

As an artist, she inspired me more than she’ll ever know. She set the bar for what it means to represent your country with excellence and grace and all without ever losing warmth or humility.

My heart is broken for her family, her loved ones, and everyone who adored her, both here in Canada and around the world.

If you’re grieving this loss, you’re not alone. We’re all holding a piece of this sadness together.

Rest easy, Catherine. Thank you for everything. 🇨🇦❤️

The end of an era in the freezer aisle 🥶🧃

Minute Maid has announced it’s discontinuing its frozen juice line, including the classic frozen canned orange juice, lemonade, Fruitopia Fruit Punch, and Five Alive.

The company will officially exit the frozen can category in both Canada and the U.S. by April, citing declining consumer demand.

For many of us, this wasn’t just juice, it was a staple. Scooping it out with a spoon, mixing it just right, keeping a can tucked in the freezer “just in case.” It’s one of those small, everyday things that quietly stuck around for decades.

Sad to see it go. Another little piece of nostalgia heading off into history. 💔
