Our RJCC Youth are hosting a “Gingerbread House Party” where they can get together for some sweet and festive fun! It’s a “make and take” where you can build your own mini-gingerbread house to bring home. You’re welcome to build a traditional style or try your hand at putting a Japanese twist on your design.

Monday, December 22 from 1-4 pm at Tipsy Samurai (102-3753 Chuka Blvd.)

Each participant needs to pay $5 to help cover the cost of supplies. We’ll give you a little gingerbread cottage and some extra candies to get you started but if you’re also welcome to bring your own candies and supplies if you’ve got a special design in mind! Age 5 and up, but we ask that those under 10 have a parent helper with them. Due to limited capacity at Tipsy Samurai we can only have up to 20 participants. Please RSVP by etransfering $5 to [email protected]

Finally, a big thank-you Tipsy Samurai for allowing us the use of their space. They are closed for the day, so there will not be any food or beverages for sale. Also, let’s do our best to take care of the space by staying out of the office and kitchen and keeping the tables and bathrooms clean

The Regina-Fujioka Student Exchange Program is officially accepting applications for our 2026/2027 cycle! All current grade 7 and grade 8 students in Regina Catholic and Regina Public Schools are invited to apply.

🎏 Mini Matsuri at “I Love Regina Day”

RAFFCOM will be hosting a Mini Matsuri Booth as part of the “I Love Regina Day” festivities! We’ll offer fun, family-friendly activities including:

Yo-Yo Tsuri (Yo-Yo Fishing)

Omikuji (Paper Fortunes)

Chopstick Challenge

Origami

Fan Calligraphy

We’re also thrilled to welcome families visiting from Fujioka who will be volunteering at the booth throughout the day – a great opportunity to say hello and share in the festivities. Regina Hibiki Taiko is scheduled to perform at about 11:00 am as well, adding to the excitement and festive celebration. Come out and join the fun!
