🌟 Awesome Awards at VRS! 🌟
This year, VRS introduced Awesome Awards for our K–6 students! Students can earn an Awesome Award when they are spotted doing something genuinely kind, helpful, or thoughtful. Students can even nominate one another when they notice a peer doing something awesome!
Every few weeks, all Awesome Award recipients are entered into a draw, with one winner chosen from K–3 and one from Grades 4–6.
🎉 Congratulations to our first two winners: Oliver (Grade 6) and Blaine (Kindergarten)!
Keep up the great work, Vipers! We love seeing all the kindness happening throughout our school! 💙

Week at a Glance!

Throughout the month of September, VRS held its annual Terry Fox Fundraising campaign. Through the generosity of students, staff, and community members, we were able to donate $1048.85 to The Terry Fox Foundation in support of cancer research and on September 25th, we celebrated this achievement and enjoyed the beautiful weather by participating in our walk/run.
