Save the date!

Institute is back on this week!

A couple of things to be aware of:

1. We know that the winning vote for the course subject for this semester was The Divine Gift of Forgiveness. However, the physical books haven't come in yet, and there are no digital options available. Also, we have a couple of students who are in BYU Pathways, and need to have a Cornerstone course each school year. Our Fall class didn't count, so with those students in mind, we are instead going to do Jesus Christ and His Everlasting Gospel (the Cornerstone course which likely aligns closest with the topic of Forgiveness). We are considering doing The Divine Gift of Forgiveness course instead in the Spring semester, if that interests people.

2. It has been recommended to us that we increase the lesson time to 90 min. Sounds like that is the standard for a class that is taught just once a week, so that the course material can be covered in the allotted 14 weeks. We are excited about this change, as it will give us more time for class activities and discussion. So we look forward to see you this Wednesday, from 7 - 8:30 pm.

Our next semester will start Wednesday, January 14th, at 7 pm. See you then!

There is a funeral tomorrow night at the Bower chapel. We hav been asked to find an alternate location. So, please join us instead at the Kentwood chapel. We will find an available room there instead.

Upcoming events include the Stake Music Festival & Stake Conference. Attend at least 4 practices between now and Nov. 30th to join the performances!
