We’re set up at the Gasoline Alley Farmers' Market for the Aslan's Den Grand Opening celebration! Pop by for some great book finds, local author readings & signings, live music, and to get answers to your questions about classical education.

Our homeschool co-op students had their final performances today! Our preschool students recited Lewis’, “How Doth the Little Crocodile,” two of our elementary girls shared, “Rebecca, Who Slammed Doors for Fun and Perished Miserably,” by Hilaire Belloc with us, and the rest of our students performed an abridged version of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar”.
Congratulations to our students on another fantastic year!

Well… King’s Cross Academy beat us to the punch! 😄

Since the news is already out, we’re excited to officially share that King’s Cross Academy will be joining us at our Grand Opening on June 6 with an information booth!

If you’ve been curious about their approach to Christian education, make sure to stop by, meet their team, ask questions, and learn more about what they offer.

We’re also thrilled to announce that 100% of the proceeds from our Used Book Booth during the Grand Opening will be donated to King’s Cross Academy. So every used book you purchase will help support their work and mission.

Come enjoy the author readings, book signings, live music, cake, and community—and don’t forget to bring a few extra dollars for the used books!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first annual Classical Arts Symposium! We were honoured to have so many talented artists and musicians join us for our first year and grateful to everyone who helped make this a successful event including our volunteers, sponsors, lunch providers, performers, vendors, speaker, and attendees.
This event was put on with support from the City of Red Deer CCDF grant. This program provides us with funding for three years, so we are looking forward to inviting you back again next year!

Today is the day! Join us between 9:30-3:30 at Living Stones Church for our Classical Arts Symposium.
Throughout the day we will hear from a lineup of musical performers as well as our guest speaker, Jason Farley. Check out our vendor tables and pop-up art gallery, and join us for a $10 Birria Pork Loaded Potato lunch in the parking lot from 12:00-1:30.
This event is free to attend (admission by donation) and all ages are welcome!

Our homeschool co-op group recently finished an oil pastels art project as they explored how to blend, choose analogous colors, and create light effects. These dragon eyes will be on display at our upcoming Classical Education information evening (details to be announced soon!)
