2. Children In-Between is a skills-based program that helps children and parents deal with the children’s reactions to separation and divorce. Tension and tactics between parents often increase the stress and anxiety of children during this time. This often puts them at higher risk for behavior problems. The program brings awareness to parents, and teaches the skills needed to avoid putting children in the middle of their conflicts.

3. Collaborative & Proactive Solutions This problem solving approach is offered to support parents and caregivers of children with challenging behaviors. The model is based on the premise that these behaviors occur when the demands being placed on a child exceeds that child’s capabilities. These tools helps parents to problem solve, identify what skills are lacking and help them to solve those problems rather than trying to modify the behavior through rewards and punishment.

GOALS

The Parent Education Programs offered, are designed support parents of any aged children, by teaching tools and reinforcing skills for the healthy, well‐balanced raising of children of any age. This is achieved through self-reflection, recognizing patterns, developing more appropriate expectations and responses with children, as well as discussing the principle of repair.

These programs are proven to educate parents and caregivers, reduce problem behaviors and increase both family communication and unity.

Using video technology, handouts and workbooks, the facilitator works with parents in a group or individual settings. Certificates are available to parents after successful completion of the programs.
