We are thrilled to announce that this past Saturday’s Propane Cup golf tournament was a massive success, raising an incredible $43,766 for our school district’s extracurricular fund!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to golf and supported our students. We are also deeply grateful to the dedicated volunteers who return every year to make this event possible, and to the entire team at the Prince Rupert Golf Course for hosting us.

The generosity of our golfers truly blew us away—thank you for jumping into the 50/50, raffle draws, game holes, and all the extra activities.

Finally, we want to extend a major thank you to our Gold sponsors B&B Contracting, Rangeland Engineering, SAAM Towage Canada Inc., Broadwater Industries, RTC Rail Solutions, and PTW as well as as our silver sponsors J&J Construction, Alstar Group, Teri Forster, Prince Rupert City Council, Spartan Controls, and Ambipar. Your support is the backbone of this tournament, and we simply couldn't raise these vital funds without you.

April is National Poetry month, which means it's time for Poetry Rising.

Claudia Stewart has organized some prompts to take the pressure off of your creativity. We'll list some below to get you started, and follow up with more later on in the month.

Would you like your poems included in our library display? Bring them to the front desk, or email them to [email protected]

-A vivid dream...
-Describe a specific colour to someone who has never seen any colour before.
-Using a random word generator, or another random means, choose five to use in a poem.
-Ode to a kitchen utensil...
-My favourite toy...
-I felt two things at once...
-My first plane ride...
-What's difficult now...
-Write a poem using either the word "route" or "root" or both.
-An open door...
-What we've built...
-When I dance...
-Hope...
