5 Hills I’ll Die On As a Tarot Reader

1. I won’t tell you what you WANT to know... I’ll tell you what you NEED to know.
 Even when the cards aren’t giving you the answer you were hoping for.

2. The cards don’t make your decisions for you.
 They can show you patterns, possibilities, blind spots and s**t you may not want to look at. What you DO with that information is still up to you.

3. You don’t need to ask the same question 47 different ways.
 If you want me to keep pulling cards until you get the answer you want, you’re not looking for guidance anymore. You’re looking for validation!

4. Tarot isn’t about predicting a fixed future.
 Your choices, actions, circumstances and free will matter. The cards can show where things are heading, but that doesn’t mean the future is carved in stone.

5. Sometimes the card you REALLY don’t want to see is the one you most need to see.
 Tarot isn’t always here to make you feel better. Sometimes it’s here to call your ass out, expose the pattern and give you the opportunity to do something different.
