🍓🍄🌿 Nursery Art Reveal! 🌿🍄🍓

I had the absolute joy of creating this custom piece for a friend’s nursery — a whimsical blend of strawberries, mushrooms, and monstera leaves! 🌱 This playful and unexpected theme challenged me both creatively and technically, and I loved every moment of it.

Even more exciting — this was my first time working with alcohol ink markers, and I’m officially hooked. The textures and richness they bring are incredible! Could this be a new go-to medium? I think yes. 🎨✨

I had the pleasure of creating this piece for a classmate in my MBA program who recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world! While I don’t have much experience with florals or acrylics, I really enjoyed the challenge and the learning process. Excited to explore some of these techniques in watercolor next!

I love exploring the color variation of the blue/turquoise water and the sandy beach. These make unique paintings on their own, but together, they look absolutely stunning…

This is my first time trying out Dutch pour and I absolutely loved it. It’s amazing what you can create without floetrol, silicon etc.

This is a custom piece made as a wedding gift, it matched their color theme as well as the florals at the wedding.

Who loves a custom name sign with a matching wall mural? I did the wall mural when my older son moved into his big boy room, and only recently completed his name sign to match. I love working with round canvases, it creates a more refined and modern look that can compliment any room. I can’t wait to get my hands on a few more round canvases.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done any painting… when our local library decides to hold a mini gallery of mini paintings, how can I resist.

With the fall coming, I’m already missing the beach days already! Did this little number on a paint night with my husband…it’s so satisfying to be able to start and finish a painting in a few short hours.
