STERILIZATION IS NOT AN OPTION. IT IS A PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY.
Beautiful results mean very little without safe practices behind them.
Throughout my years as a nail and foot care professional, I have always believed that proper hygiene, disinfection, and sterilization are fundamental to every service.
In my clinic, I follow a structured infection prevention protocol:
• Cleaning: Instruments are thoroughly cleaned to remove visible debris and organic matter before further processing.
• Disinfection: Appropriate disinfectants are used according to their intended purpose, required concentration, and contact time.
• Sterilization: Reusable, heat-resistant instruments are processed through an autoclave using validated sterilization procedures.
• Single-use materials: Disposable items are never reused between clients.
• Safe storage: Sterilized instruments are kept appropriately packaged and protected from contamination until use.
• Cross-contamination prevention: Hand hygiene, surface disinfection, and proper handling of clean and used instruments are essential parts of my daily practice.
As an educator, I teach more than technique. I teach responsibility.
Understanding infection prevention, instrument processing, and professional safety protocols is just as important as mastering the manicure or pedicure itself.
Because professional excellence is not measured by beautiful results alone, but by the standards maintained behind every service.
Precision in technique. Discipline in hygiene. Integrity in practice.
