Our school did an incredible job of fundraising $1,000 over our goal for Cancer research in honour of Terry Fox!
Our grade 6 class fundraised the most and with that they got to choose the fate of our dear principal, Mr Vanden Dungen's beard....it's true what they say, a photo speaks a thousand words...

Living Our Mission: St. Catherine SchoolWelcomes the Bishop’s Assurance Pilot

What does it look like to live out the Gospel in the classroom? Today, September 17, St. Catherine School was excited to participate in the new Bishop’s Assurance Pilot program.

We welcomed guests from the Diocese of Calgary, Holy Spirit Catholic School Division, and Medicine Hat Catholic for a day of reflection and connection. This pilot appreciates specifically our Catholic Identity—how we model Gospel values and foster spiritual growth in our students.

Highlights of the visit included:
Classroom walk-throughs and student interactions.
Moments of prayer and communal reflection.
A focus on the "Five Marks of Catholic Education."

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful day! We are blessed to be part of a province that values both academic excellence and spiritual formation.
