Had a great BBQ last night for the Texas 4000 teams. Great attendance by Yukon Commissioner Doug Phillips and his wife, Mayor Dan Curtis and Councilor Joscelyn Curteanu to show a Yukon Hospitality welcome. Good turnout by the WFFA L 2217 members to support Whitehorse Firefighters Charitable Society. Being a good community steward is what it's all about.

Received a recognition award today at the 6th District IAFF Western Canada Conference for the great volunteer work done by members to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy.

Great event this afternoon building a better community. Team first responders vs Elijah Smith School at the Kwanlin Dun Baseball Diamond. Everyone had fun.
