Long journey, but wonderful birthday dinner on the French Carribean island of Martinique with some friends and my wonderful husband (more pictures of them all tomorrow haha). I am tired, but don't want to sleep as I lay here listening to the waves crash up on the beach outside my window. I am spoiled!

So I know it's been awhile since I posted, don't worry I've been very selfish and done lots of amazing things over the summer except apparently post on Facebook lol. So to cap off my year of being selfish with an 8-week, nine country, many city trip! This post made me think that I should share it and let you know that I will be here in a few weeks, just message Glenn to say I'm fine with going up the stairs (thank you gym trainer!), but why was that terrifying looking at it to walk down!! I will try and post more about my trip on this page to keep everybody informed of where we are and what we're doing. We will be starting by leaving Montreal on the 24th (happy birthday to me!) And landing on the tropical island of Martinique and meeting up with four of our favorite people! We'll try and post more about that soon as well as the new business that I started this year, the store front that I will open up next year, the food truck that I'm working on... To be continued...
Stairs of death' (15th Century CE), are a section of stone steps, built by Incas (1438-1533 CE), located at peak Huayna Picchu mountain, 2693m above sea level (one of steep mountains that overlooks Machu Picchu), Peru.
These stairs lead to top of Huayna Picchu, where we found Inca ruins on top. The Incas used agricultural terraces and platforms that resembled steps to cultivate crops. The spectacular old city of Machu Picchu is remarkable among the stunning views, along with the view of the Temple of the Moon.

Excited to go to this with one of my favorite people! Had fun dress shopping yesterday too!! Missed last year because I was pregnant, not missing this year!

This past Saturday was amazing! Totally enjoyed running the 15th Half Corked Marathon! Less than 100 days after giving birth and I finished (the run and all of the wine!!). Thanks to my running buddy that kept pushing me!

Wonderful evening with my wonderful husband! Amazing dinner at Erica Jane Restaurant, cocktails at OAK + CRU and a sing along with a great shantyman, Sean McCann! Couldn't ask for a better evening!
