Wooden Hill Child Care Centre

We are looking for before and afterschool staff for the 2023-24 school year!

We are looking for RECEs, CYWs or the equivalent. We also support ECE students and Apprenticeship students.

You will work 25-27 hours per week between Monday to Friday, in a split shift, or you can choose to work only in the afterschool program. You will work the full day on school holidays (summer camp, March break, and PA Days). Staff are not required to work evenings, weekends or statutory holidays.

You should be passionate about working with children, early learning and care. You should be energetic, resourceful and creative.

You will work alongside some of the most passionate, caring and dedicated educators in the industry. You will spend time engaging, connecting and learning with children, families, community partners and co-workers.

Our staff are very grateful to have had the opportunity to be vaccinated today!

Thanks to all the healthcare workers at the clinic, and all the parents who picked up early so we were able to go.

We will continue to wear masks, and take every precaution to prevent the spread of covid-19.

Whether we are making friends with snow giants, climbing 'snow mountains', building snow forts, or sledding, we LOVE playing outside (especially on sunny days like today)! ❄️☃️☀️

We are looking forward to welcoming all our Wooden Hill families back on September 8th!

Daycare families: This week we will send out information packages via 'Hi Mama' explaining the steps we are taking to keep your child/children safe as we reopen the centre. Parents will need to review and agree to follow our new covid-19 policies.

Before and after school families: We will distribute information packages before the school year begins. We are waiting for the Grey Bruce Public Health Unit and school boards to finalise the program logistics.
