In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many parents have been unexpectedly thrust into the role of a homeschool teacher (in addition to several other roles). As researchers passionate about improving education, we are working to understand how this sudden change has impacted how children are learning math and language arts at home. Your participation today will help provide insights into parents' homework helping behaviours and the homework environments of their children who are currently in junior kindergarten to grade 8 in an Ontario school, during this unprecedented situation.

We are seeking residents of Ontario who are parents of school-aged children (JK to grade 8) and are fluent in English or French. Your participation will consist of completing a 20 minute -long online questionnaire in which you will be asked to complete a questionnaire related to your child’s math and language arts homework, as well as some demographic questions and questions about your attitudes towards math and language arts. These tasks are not designed to be difficult or stressful.

As compensation for your participation, you will have the choice to receive a $5.00 gift card via e-mail from one of the following: Amazon, Indigo or Starbucks.

If you are interested in participating in our study, please go to the following link and complete this survey: http://uottawapsy.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bar95gaPGWCuAO9
