We have spent weeks talking about the Education for Human Flourishing project, but what does the word at the very center of our mission actually look like in practice?
To wrap up our interview series, we sat down with Dr. Bianca Briciu to ask her the most essential question of all:
What does flourishing mean for you?
In this final clip, she shares a deeply reflective take on how true flourishing requires us to connect with our inner selves, nurture our relationships, and create supportive systems around us. It is about bringing our whole, authentic selves into the spaces where we work and learn.
As we close out this interview series, we want to turn the question over to our incredible community. What does flourishing mean to you in your own life, work, or studies? Let’s keep this conversation growing in the comments below! 🌿✨

What does the Education for Human Flourishing project look like through the eyes of the people shaping it every day?
For this week’s feature, we are sharing a personal and heartfelt clip from Gabrielle Dupuis as she reflects on her journey with the project and what it truly means to cultivate spaces of collective care on campus.

Let’s keep growing this flourishing ecosystem together.
In a world where professional environments can often feel draining, how do we build spaces that actually restore our energy and give back to our well-being?
For our next interview snippet, we sat down with Dr. Michaël Séguin and Gabrielle Dupuis to tackle a beautiful and essential question:
What makes this project regenerative?
In this clip, Michaël and Gabrielle discuss how moving away from transactional models and focusing on deep, life-giving connection allows the Education for Human Flourishing initiative to continuously restore and uplift everyone involved.
How do you bring a sense of renewal or regeneration into your own daily routine or work environment? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
For the next video in our interview series, we asked Dr. Bianca Briciu and Dr. Michaël Séguin to dive into a concept that anchors the entire Education for Human Flourishing project:
Resonance is a key element in this project. Can you share what the meaning of this word is for you?
In this clip, they explain how resonance moves us past simple empathy and into a space of collective healing. When professors share their genuine challenges and find resonance within a supportive community, it breaks down the isolation of academic life and reminds us of our shared humanity.
What does the word "resonance" mean to you in your daily interactions or your work on campus? Share your thoughts with us in the comments!
True connection takes intention, space, and a shared commitment to supporting one another.
For the next clip in our interview series, we gather insights from Dr. Bianca Briciu, Dr. Michaël Séguin, and Gabrielle Dupuis to explore a concept that lies at the absolute core of our project:
What is a Community of Practice and how does it make people more connected?
In higher education, it is easy to feel like we are working in isolation. In this interview, the team explains how a Community of Practice breaks down those walls. By creating a dedicated space for professors and creators to share real experiences, struggles, and wisdom, these groups build a deep sense of relational trust, vulnerability, and collective care.
Have you ever been part of a community of practice? How did it change the way you connect with those around you? Let us know in the comments!
Why do we stick to old ways of thinking when it comes to learning and well-being?
For the next installment of our interview series, we sat down with Dr. Bianca Briciu and Dr. Michaël Séguin to ask a foundational question:
What inspired you to challenge traditional models of education and mental health?
In this clip, they open up about the gaps they noticed in conventional academic systems and explain why a shift toward holistic flourishing is so urgently needed for both students and professors. It’s an honest look at the personal and professional experiences that sparked the entire Education for Human Flourishing project.
What traditional assumptions about education or mental health do you think we need to challenge next? Let's keep the conversation going in the comments! Université Saint-Paul / Saint Paul University
If someone asked you to describe the Education for Human Flourishing project in just a few words, what would you say?
We sat down with our research team to ask them that exact question. To kick off our new interview series, Dr. Bianca Briciu and Michaël Séguin breaks down the core mission, heart, and vision behind this initiative in just a few sentences.
Hear firsthand how this project aims to reshape academic culture, support our professors, and bring a deeper sense of holistic well-being to higher education.
