A question to atheists: would you be irrationally passionate about an idea or a principle to the point of risking something for it?
My friend recently made a joke about atheists having their own attributes of clerical service as any other religion, but it actually made me think. A question to atheists: do you have an image of salvation? In whatever sense you would treat it. Some safe heaven? Biology conquered, technology subjugated, space explored, digitalization made real? No wrong answers, just me and my curiosity.

When I talk about morality, atheists often say that Christians only strive to be better to please God, as if it undermines their effort somehow. But what is the source of morality? What could serve as such foundation?

Nihilists, anti-natalists, pro-abortionists - all come under the umbrella term of atheism.

No, it is just an absence of beliefs - that is, simultaneously, coming with a whole set of propositions, that, according to atheists, do not constitute any worldview at all.
