Silver Spring Studio

We are in desperate need for long necked coloured wine bottles!!! We are trying to ensure our planters receive sufficient water at all times.

We will add them to a terracotta spike that will drip feed water to the seedlings.

We need 50 to get going. Can anyone help us? Maybe local pubs would be able to support us with this? We are creating a gardening community for persons with disabilities. It will be a fully accessible eco-garden. Please see my previous posts. No donation is too small.

With the exception of those who have spoken to me today regarding compost and have still to pick up, we are officially SOLD OUT!! Therefore we will NOT be hosting a 3 rd weekend sale. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped us to move so much compost! Thanks especially to Manotick Gardens & Landscaping Supplies for their continuing support for our accessible eco-garden project.

My goodness! Today was an insanely busy day! We had full attendance, visits from contractors, volunteers a plenty and a visit from Student of St Paul's High School's Elite Skilled Trades Academy! These fabulously hard working students have been working tirelessly to help us build our accessible garden. Take a look!

Susan is a regular customer at Silver Spring Studio. She is an amazing artist and wonderful storyteller. Her super power is asking caring questions and remembering your answers long afterwards! We are so lucky that she spends her time with us! 🥰

Today was an amazing day! Not only was the weather glorious but the volunteer fairies smiled upon us too. Today a group of employees from Ciena joined us to work with the garlic and help out in the Studio garden! So much was accomplished! Thank you! Your assistance made light of some heavy work! Especially the post driving in prep for fencing.

Silver Spring Studio has been the beneficiary of many offers of generosity in recent weeks. Ottawa Tool Library is one such generous donors. They have provided us with screwdrivers, drill bits, hammers, tool kits and garden tools! We are grateful for these gifts in kind. They meet our needs and help us budget with success!! Thank you so much!
