Thank you to everyone who’s been speaking up, sharing, and standing behind Music Industry Arts. Your voices matter and they’re being heard.
On February 23rd, the Algonquin College Board of Governors will decide the future of MIA. This decision doesn’t just impact the community it affects future artists, producers, and music professionals who may never get the chance to learn, create, and build careers here in Ottawa.
We can’t afford to lose this pipeline of talent. Please visit ottawaMIC.com to add your voice to the MIAmatters campaign. Share the message, and help protect a program that has shaped our music community for generations.
The Music Industry Arts (MIA) program, an essential training ground for artists, producers, technicians, managers, and music entrepreneurs, is under threat of being cancelled.
The music industry is mobilizing in response.
An open letter has been submitted to the Algonquin College Board of Governors, ahead of their February 23 meeting, where the future of MIA will be decided.
If you believe this program matters, please read, share, and amplify.
