🎉 Let's welcome our guest speaker from NRC: Phil Kaye👏
🎓 In 2007, Phil graduated in the first Ph.D. cohort from Waterloo’s Institute for Quantum Computing. In the same year, he also co-authored a quantum algorithms textbook (“An Introduction to Quantum Computing”, Kaye, Laflamme, Mosca, 2007).
🌐 With nearly 20 years of experience, Phil has served as a trusted advisor of the Canadian government, led programs at D-Wave Systems, and co-founded Quantum Industry Canada (QIC), a consortium representing over 24 Canadian quantum technology companies.
💼 Presently, Phil leads the Applied Quantum Computing Challenge program at NRC, showcasing his ongoing dedication to pushing the boundaries of quantum computing.
