Happening tomorrow!
Register now for our upcoming webinar, co-hosted with the Centre for Studies in Religion and Society, "Wishful Thinking? Is There a Religious Revival?," happening on Zoom on May 27 from 12:30pm-2pm ET.
Recent media stories in a number of countries suggest that there is a religious revival taking place, with increased worship attendance and young people expressing renewed interest in religion. But is this just wishful thinking? Is there really a religious revival? This panel explores the evidence – or lack thereof – for a religious revival, and why this issue has attracted persistent attention in the media.
Featuring Conrad Hackett (Pew Research Center), Kati Tervo-Niemelä (University of Eastern Finland), Joel Thiessen (Ambrose University), Sarah Wilkins-Laflamme (University of Waterloo), and David Voas (University College London)

New episode of the Lifestances Podcast is now available!
Ep. 7: Religion and Nonreligion in the Classroom: Educating for a Diverse World
Education about religion has long been considered an essential part to making informed and conscientious citizens. But how does religious education look in a world that is increasingly religiously diverse and increasingly nonreligious? And how should we best teach about (non)religion in these changing circumstances?
To answer these questions, we’re joined by Martha Shaw, an Associate Professor in Education at London South Bank University; Andrew Copson, the Chief Executive of Humanists UK; and Tim Hall, a K-12 Social Studies Instructional Specialist in North Carolina, and the Executive Director of Religion Matters, which advances religious literacy in K-12 education.
