George Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue - Leonard Bernstein, New York Philharmonic (1976) Leonard Bernstein conducts the New York Philharmonic and plays piano in a performance of George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue at the Royal Albert Hall in 1976.

This quartet is legendary among string musicians. It's challenging, dramatic and has a dark and compelling backstory. Please enjoy this exemplary performance by members of the National Youth Orchestra.

Rebeca Clarke was a groundbreaking composer. She was one of the first women to attain a position with the London Symphony. She later moved to the US where she spent her time composing and touring with her all women piano trio.
