Since 2012, Carleton students have worked to replicate real-life collisions between bicycles and motor vehicles. Look at this nifty prototype force sensor! NEAT!
This sensor will help CUCD determine impact forces at the exterior of the dummy head - this helps in the event of a low-speed impact where the accelerators will be insufficient. Four of these will be fitted to the dummy's head!
