Ever since this wonderful family joined our church community, they have faithfully put God first and experienced a beautiful season of continual answered prayers. Their incredible testimony is a living reminder that when we align our hearts with Him, He is completely faithful to provide exactly what we need. The fields are already ripe for harvest! Jesus says "lift up your eyes", the harvest is here.

In John 4:35, Jesus challenges us to stop waiting and recognize the spiritual opportunity surrounding us right now. Pastor Derek reminds us that this harvest surrounds us in our homes, workplaces, and communities.

By living as true witnesses, we should look and sound like we've encountered Jesus, ensuring everything we do reflects Him, and is a witness to those around us.

When we choose to live by this truth, we begin to see God provide in ways we cannot even imagine.

It is in the very first step; in faith, in truth, and in obedience, that we see God move mightily. This testimony is a living example of what happens when we step out and trust Him, because where God guides, He provides.

What if the story of the woman at the well was never actually about her? ✨

In John 4, we see that the heart of this encounter is about Jesus being hungry; not for food, but for souls. When He told His disciples, "I have food to eat of which you do not know," He was looking at the harvest of people walking toward Him from the city, led by one unlikely witness.

You don’t have to be perfect to be a witness. That woman had a complicated past, yet Jesus revealed Himself to her as the Messiah. Your encounter with Him is exactly what qualifies you.

We are in a season of harvest at HMC. Lift up your eyes! Whether you are at work, at home, or running errands, the people around you are the harvest Jesus is hungry for. Come be a part of what God is doing beyond the four walls of the church.
