Once upon a time, there was a dream of turning passion into a profession.

On Monday, July 27, our ESO graduates celebrated the successful completion of their exams and an important milestone in their journey toward careers in the beauty and wellness industry.

Our Oshawa campus marked the occasion with plenty of laughter, treats, excitement, and support as our entire campus community came together to celebrate their success. 🎓🍰

What is something you are not starting because of fear?

Meet Jonathan, a Video Game Design Student in our 18-month online diploma program.

Jonathan's something was this program. Fear kept them from starting their dream career.

"I’ve always wanted to do it,” they say. “But I was scared as a kid".

However, this year, they pushed himself out of their comfort zone and leaped. It started with a simple, small step. They got a call with our career coach, Paul Noble, and asked all the questions.

Paul helped Jonathan through the whole process, resolving all doubts, helping them face 'fear', and finally setting everything set up for that dreaded first day. "It took maybe a week at the maximum", Jonathan recalls.

Today, Jonathan is in a happy and supportive environment, creating a career for themself that they love and be proud of.

"Mike and Justin; they have so much patience; they’re really amazing teachers. I couldn’t ask for a better teacher."

Jonathan hopes to create a lot of assets and become a video game designer in the future.

Their only advice: "Follow your dream. If you believe you can do it, then you should do it."
