Just off the easel, this pastel painting, based on a view from the Bruce Trail near the Grotto, Tobermory, Ontario. Entitled it "Sunlit Resilience Amongst the Rocks", as I am in awe of how nature appears to thrive despite the circumstances. Please share your title suggestions. This pastel painting is another of my series based on views of the Bruce Trail which is destined for the upcoming Bruce Trail Inspired III fundraiser for the Bruce Trail Conservancy, to be held Nov 16 to Dec 5, Holcium Gallery, Milton.

Just off the easel, "Golden Memories of an Autumn Day", acrylic, 24" x 36". I used metallic gold on some of the painting to reflect the golden sparkle of the sunlight. This painting is another of my series based on views of the Bruce Trail which is destined for the upcoming Bruce Trail Inspired III fundraiser for the Bruce Trail Conservancy, to be held Nov 16 to Dec 5, Holcium Gallery, Milton. This scene was based on photo from my friend, photographer, and fellow Bruce Trail hiker, Chris Goddard.

Excited to be a part of the Colour and Form Society's Canadian Landmarks II Exhibition, which explores what it means to be Canadian. This exhibtion will be held at the Shelbourne Town Hall Gallery, 203 Main St, Shelbourne, Ontario from July 13 to August 21, 2026. The Reception is July 18, 2-4pm. My acrylic painting, "From the Mountains to the Marshland", 24" x 24", is based on a scene from Bic Park, Gaspe, Quebec and portrays the rocks and mountains that have weathered over time. My oil painting, "Canadian Landscape Rooted in Resilience", is based on a scene from Algonquin Park, where trees somehow find a way to thrive amidst the rocky Canadian Shield. This shows the tenacity, grit and resilience of the Canadian spirit.

Art has the ability to bridge geographic divides and connect people across diverse backgrounds. The Korean Artists Society of Canada supports artistic cultural exchanges and collaboration between Korea and Canada. The Korea-Canada Invitational Design Exhibition highlights the creative traditions of Korea and Canada, serving as a platform for mutual understanding, dialogue and collaboration between Korea and Canada artists. I'm delighted that my Elora Gorge plein air pastel, "Summer Song in the Gorge" is part of this collaborative online exhibition and thank them for including me in the company of such amazing artists.
