Had a wonderful time with fellow Bruce Trail artists Anne More, Janet Jardine, Rob Peachey, Victoria Pearce, seen near the beginning of the trail in Tobermory,Ontario. We were photographing reference material for our upcoming Bruce Trail Inspired III, a fundraiser for the Bruce Trail Conservancy, to be held at the Holcim Gallery, First Ontario Place in Milton, Ontario from Nov 16-Dec 6. We were blessed with beautiful weather! Looking forward to sharing some Tobermory inspired paintings soon.

SOLD Happy to have "Summer Song of the Gorge" sold to a local resident who was reminded of her childhood spent looking at the wildlife around the Elora Gorge.

"Gorgeous Summer", pastel, 11"x 8", framed 16" x 8" was painted on location in the Elora, Gorge, Ontario during the Elora Plein Air Festival. Visit the Elora Plein Air Festival and Sale on Sunday May 17, 2026 from noon to 5pm at the new Elora Centre for the Arts, 75 Melville St, Elora Ontario.

"Summer Song of the Gorge" pastel, original size 10.5" x 15", framed 16.25" x 20"was painted on location in the Elora Gorge. This painting will be part of the Elora Plein Air Festival show and Sale on Sunday May 17, 2026 from noon to 5pm at the Elora Centre for the Arts, 75 Melville St, Elora, Ont.

Looking forward to participating in this annual plein air festival of artists. We will be painting on location around Elora and Fergus Ontario from Wednesday May 13 to Friday May 16 as well as a "Quick Paint" on Saturday May 16, 1:30 - 4:30. "From the Mountains to the Marshland", acrylic, 24" x 24" on cradled canvas is one of the many paintings featured in the Burlington Fine Art Association's "Water" exhibition. This painting is based on a scene viewed last summer from a hiking trail in Bic Park, Gaspe, Quebec. The show at the Hub gallery, located at Burlington Centre mall, Burlington, Ontario continues during mall hours until May 15, 3pm.
