The guilt may be present regardless, so just do the dang thing. Work the muscle, and it will get easier.
It's one thing to look at guilt or shame as information about something you care passionately about, or to recognize what feels out of alignment.
But it's another thing to feel guilty about going to the grocery store alone, leaving your kids with their very capable other parent.
This message, and the SO MANY others Libby shared, is what you'll get on this latest episode of All Figured Out.
And having devoured her debut bestselling memoir "Honest Motherhood: On Losing My Mind and Finding Myself," this episode only scratches the surface of what Libby has to say about the ride of motherhood.

THE working parent hack you need for 2026.
I’m in the personal and professional development space, and even I’ve got this wrong before.
I’ve been a victim of my own schedule and life, and I’m not going to let that happen to you.
So first step, know the difference between working IN your life versus ON your life.
We talk about this in the entrepreneurial world, but why not in family life?!
Here’s what working IN your life often looks like.
• Planning life one day or one week at a time.
• Reading personal development books but never having the time or energy to actually integrate what you’re learning.
• Having strong systems at work, and none at home.
• Feeling like you’re constantly putting out fires, everywhere.
• Saying things like, “This is how we’ve always done it,” even when it clearly isn’t working.
• Or, “This is the work I’ve always done,” even when it’s not what you want anymore.
• Feeling like life is happening to you, instead of for you.
Now watch this. This is what it looks like when you work ON your life:
• You step back and look at the one-, three-, and five-year vision for your family.
• You have a weekly calendar check-in with your partner to zoom out and look at what’s ahead.
• You build a real cadence for date nights and weekends.
• You have the time, money, and energy for local or international adventures.
• You regularly look at your schedule and ask, “Is this actually working for us?”
Imagine feeling so aligned with why your family operates the way you do (and how it lines up with where you’re going), that even when someone says “oh that’s way too many activities, I could never” you can smile, feel confident and know that your family is exactly where you need to be.
Comment or DM me COACHING and I’ll show you what working ON your life could look like together.
PS: your professional development budget at work might be expiring Dec. 31 👀

Parenting in your power.
After 19 years in federal leadership, Yaa-Hemaa Obiri-Yeboah walked away…at 40, with two young kids, during a pandemic.
Not because she couldn’t do it. But because she did, and realized it wasn’t what she truly wanted.
In this incredible career story on All Figured Out Yaa-Hemaa shares how she moved from public service to personal power, and what it really takes to start over after kids.
