Trans Mountain Signs a $3.1 Million Funding Agreement with District of Clearwater for Infrastructure Upgrades This contribution will be used for the construction, operation and maintenance of the infrastructure upgrades necessary to service the Trans Mountain Expansion Project’s worker accommodation camp.

What You Need To Know: Utility Line Relocation On May 15, 2020, Trans Mountain received approval from the Canada Energy Regulator (CER) to relocate the existing pipeline that transports oil between Burnaby Terminal and Westridge Marine Terminal.

Preserving the land: Construction equipment is heavy and could damage sensitive environments if the right precautions aren’t taken. When matting is used, it supports the weight of this equipment and prevents damage to access roads, right-of-way and temporary work locations. 🚜

WCMRC Awards Vessel Building Contracts!

Western Canada Marine Response (WCMRC) is building 22 new custom-designed oil response vessels at local shipyards to ensure the protection of wildlife, economic and environmental sensitivities along British Columbia’s coastline.

As part of the spill response enhancements, enabled by the Trans Mountain Expansion Project, WCMRC will be adding a total of 44 new vessels, 120 personnel and six new response bases.

There's something new on the water at our Westridge Marine Terminal in Burnaby!

This 'dolphin jacket' was installed last week, and is an important part of the three new berths being built at the terminal.

This red-tailed hawk made a picture-perfect appearance at our Westridge Marine Terminal. The bird, known as '5R', is part of Vancouver International Airport's falconry program that helps manage birds at the airport.
