I tried to resemble a friendly chicken breed here. Can anyone guess which one?

Her superhero mask makes me giggle every time I try to look her in the eye and is worth to share! It's also time to finish her looks. Isn't she lovely?! And huge. And wieghted.

YES!

This weather asks for more crocheted chickens in this world. These were my first ones and they live with my Mom in the Netherlands.

I can't help wondering how awesome they would look in white fluffy yarn, as a Silkie.

Who is with me? Who needs a weighted Emotional Support Chicken in their live?

Make yourself known!

Some selflove crochet coming through. The thought was to make a beautiful gift for a dear family member. But since I have never crocheted a garment in my life, this was a new experience and not an easy one. The photo doesn't show the (misjudged) brightness of the colors. I mean, I love neon, but not everyone does!

And even though I have seen many patterns in my crochet career, this was a new challenge. No altering as you go. No cheating. And keep counting those stitches! And not to mention how it curved with the first tries. A few bad words may have slipped out. Some hooks may have ended up in the naughty corner, but I persisted.

And here...

a smile! I love the end result. Especially how the colors played out and how the combo of stitches give it a playful look, even though the pattern picture clearly shows tight stitches and a smooth finish. I decided this is my trail version. The next one will hopefully less long, and no more bad words, and will find its way to its original receiver.

Thank you, students. For ever and always inspiring me.

Who can guess what we are going to make in class this Friday?

If you guess it right, you can come get one for free. A finished one, of course : )

Don't tell me you don't have an Emotional Support Weirdo?!

You need help!

I can help, obviously...

(Yes, this is what happens when I don't feel like working on my crochet voodoo instruction booklets. Entertain me!)
