Believe me when I tell you that life is much better with good friends around.

Sorry, y'all. I am 1 month late to posting this fun activity and experience that I had with my good friends altogether. I've been so occupied with new and amazing things happening in my life but I'm back on track now.

Anyway, if you haven't gone snowshoeing before, you need to. It's really fun πŸ‘ŒπŸΎπŸ˜„ and a pretty good cardiovascular activity πŸ₯΅

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and remain blessed πŸ™πŸΎ

Leg day session with these old gym equipment. My favorite would be the calf raise equipment. You know what they say, Old is Gold ... sometimes, though lol.

You all watched Squid Game Season 2 yet? Damn the 001s πŸ˜†

The best thing about chest day is that it ain't leg day.

P.S. I don't skip legs though. Stay tuned for my next post.

There are somethings about life that you will only get to understand once you experience it.

2 years ago, I lost someone very important in life and at the same time, I lost every motivation I had to continue making videos or contents on my IG, FB and YT platforms. It was an extremely painful experience that I could never wish upon my enemy.

But I never stopped working out because the gym was my therapy and it helped me take my mind off of the pain.

After a year or so, I thought about getting back to making videos and posting fitness contents but I got lazy and also felt discouraged because my main motivation was gone from this world. I also thought about the people that didn't really care about what I was going through or my fitness contents and that kinda discouraged me from resuming the fitness contents.

Anyway, I came to realize that the majority of people don't really care about who you are or what you're going through. Basically, everyone is trying to live their lives and that is absolutely ok. We're all going through challenges and difficulties which some people are silent or vocal about.

If you're wondering if I've gained the motivation now to continue posting fitness contents, I'd say Yes to that but to a certain extent. Thanks to the people that reached out to me and asking where I've been or if I'm still alive πŸ˜†, I can say to you that πŸ—£οΈπŸ“’ I AM BACK NOW but there will be some changes to the way I post and what I post.

Life has gotten increasingly busy for me but I will do my very best to ONLY post health and fitness-related videos on my IG and FB page and story. Also, I will begin posting on my fitness YouTube channel as well, for those that are interested in long-form contents.

It takes a lot of time out of my day to make these fitness contents but I do this only for those that are working on their physical and mental health, for those that need help losing or gaining weight (fun fact, I used to be really skinny) and for those that need some motivation to keep going, cuz life be life'ing out here.

That's all I gotta say and that's the explanation as promised. To all, take care and stay blessed πŸ™πŸΎ

What lesson did you takeaway from this video? πŸ˜†

The tricep pull-down rope is one of the most commonly used gym equipment out there. If you workout in a crowdy gym, you know the struggle and challenges you have to face to get your hands on one of these.

Imagine this scenario: You finally get your hands on this equipment (thank goodness lol), after you patiently waited for someone to finish his/her last two reps. The struggle is real, I tell ya. Even when you're using the ropes, you probably would have already told 5-10 people that you just began your 1st workout set (of course I'm exaggerating but you get the gist πŸ˜‚)

Anyway, there's a reason why you get asked every 5 goddamm minutes if you're done using the ropes. People love these ropes, and I too. The tricep rope pull-down exercise is justifiably one of the best exercises that isolates the triceps and prevents the involvement of your shoulders or delts.

With good form, there's no freaking way you can lift heavy when you perform this exercise. Therefore, it's safe to say that you can achieve a good tricep symmetry (muscle balance) using the tricep ropes.

I strongly suggest you add this exercise to your workout routine (if you haven't yet) and explore the benefits of it.

For those of you that are not confident about their form, my next YouTube video will show you how to perfect your form when performing this awesome and amazing discovery of an exercise, so stay tuned.

Thanks for reading. Stay blessed βœŒπŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ

It was a memorable day with my homies at Grouse Mountain resort in North Vancouver. Hiking all the way to the top of the mountain, on a hot day, was no joke at all but we definitely survived the grind πŸ’ͺ🏾😀

The spectacular and amazing view from the top of the mountain was the icing on the cake πŸ‘ŒπŸΎ Honestly, I'd recommend you go see it, if you haven't.

By the way, I'm sorry to announce that I will not be uploading a fitness YouTube video this week and next week due to foreseen circumstances. Thanks for understanding πŸ™πŸΎ

Stay tuned for more amazing contents. Let's goooo 😁πŸ”₯

I don't do a lot of leg πŸ— photos because I personally kind of find it weird taking pictures of my legs, and I don't really like wearing shorts anyway πŸ˜…

However, today is leg appreciation day (because I said so) and I figured it's a good day to post these. I'm truly proud of the leg gains so far, and I hope for better gains ahead.

Have a good week everyone 😁

NUTRITION 101 CLASS RESUMES

Prof: A huge welcome back to all of my amazing students 😁. The last couple of years has been crazy for everyone but I'm glad we all made it to this year.

(Jonathan walks in late to class, and heads to his seat)

Prof: Ah sh*t. He's back πŸ˜’

(Jonathan smiles πŸ™‚ as he seats on his chair)

Prof: Ok let's begin today's session with the topic, alcohol. I'm sure you've seen your parents drinking alcohol. Do you think it's good for their health?

The whole class: πŸ—£οΈNoooo...

Prof: Well, alcohol in MODERATION is not actually bad as it has some benefits, for example, it could possibly reduce your risk of developing heart disease. The main problem is when people consume high amounts of alcohol on a daily or weekly basis which is also known as heavy drinking. Heavy drinking does impact your health ... negatively. There is no benefit to it.

Sarah: Does alcohol cause people to have a big stomach because my dad has it and he drinks a lot. I think it's called "beer belly"?

Prof: Yes, weight gain is unfortunately associated with alcohol. Alcohol has a lot of "empty" calories in it (about 7 calories per gram) and it. It barely has any nutrients in it. It can prevent your digestive system from efficiently utilizing the nutrients in your regular food because your body will be actively working (with the help of the liver) to remove the toxin or alcohol from your system.
I'm sure most are aware that too much alcohol damages the liver so it's best to educate those around you of the dangers of over-drinking. Lastly, I should mention that alcohol can makes you overeat because it lowers your blood sugar levels, thus leaving you really hungry and craving for sugar-rich foods.

David: Does that mean the risk of alcohol outweighs the benefits?

Jonathan: (yells) I saw Prof drunk last night with some other teachers outside a bar.

Prof: Will you shut up you son of a .... 🀬

(Prof pauses and breathes in deeply 😀)

Prof: Yes David, you are right. There are more negative effects of high levels of alcohol to our system so I'll leave that as your first assignment for the year. I'll see you in the next class
