The New Approach: Assisted Learning

The New Approach: Assisted Learning Each child learns differently and on a different timeline that cannot always be catered for in a classroom environment.

The New Approach provides alternative learning methods and education in an assisted environment in order to achieve a cognitive understanding for the student-in-need so that they may build strong foundations in order to succeed in more advanced learning. To combat this, The New Approach provides alternative learning methods and education in order to achieve a cognitive understanding for the student-in-need. In order for this to be achieved, the tutor will assess the current disability or weakness of the child so that they may personalize their teaching methods to diminish the struggles that are encountered with each subject. If a student can be noted to be a kinesthetic learner, for example, then activities will be created so that the child may participate in hands-on learning so that they can gain a better understanding of the necessary material. Each child will be seen in a one-on-one environment where the tutor will be fully invested in assisting the learning of each student in their areas of needed improvement. Each session will focus on strengthening and building the necessary foundations of each subject so when the student is confident in the basics, they can successfully move on to more advanced learning. The New Approach values a strong foundation for learning and strives to enhance the basics so that a student does not feel like they are overwhelmed by material and falling behind. Education is not only a tool for success in society. It is a fundamental necessity that can lead to confidence, stronger social skills, and a positive outlook on learning. In order for a student to see the value of education, they need to first experience the success it can bring to their lives. The New Approach only hopes it can assist each student down that path of success.
